SYMPTOM(s):
Started getting error 1739 and 1451 when trying to connect to oracle database
ORACLE_HOME variable does not contain a valid directory name. (1739)
Failed to connect to ORACLE database . (1451)
The oracle database and oracle DataServer are on one machine
The DataServer broker (_probrkr) is running
The DataServer log file shows the valid ORACLE_HOME is set
The schema holder is running as a server
Start the DataServer broker and the schema holder using a script
CHANGE:
Nothing has been changed
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown but, restarting the broker using script fixed the problem.
FIX:
Restart the oracle broker in the oracle DataServer machine.
