SYMPTOM(s):
4GL client session hangs
After dbrpr was used against the database
dbrpr was interrupted
CAUSE:
dbrpr is an unsupported utility which should be used only if Technical Support requests to do so.
dbrpr is not tested for all possible scenarios, especially it's not tested for 'crash recovery'. Therefore interrupting dbrpr while it's performing any task is extremely dangerous for the database integrity.
At times, the damage done by interrupting dbrpr is irreversible.
FIX:
Go back to the latest backup.
