FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
SYMPTOM(s):
cannot shutdown database with ProControl
CAUSE:
The 'Shutdown parameters' section of the Properties of the database within ProControl contain invalid parameters
It is possible on the database configuration within ProControl to specify shutdown parameters. If these parameters are incorrect, then the database may not shutdown.
FIX:
Make sure the shutdown parameters are valid parameters
