Error# 1008 occurs when trying to connect to an ORACLE database.
The logical name for the foreign database( -ld parameter in the connection string) is different than the dataserver image stored in the schema holder.
CAUSE:
The -ld parameter for the non-Progress database is different from the one stored in the schema holder.
FIX:
Change the schema image name to match -ld parameter in connection string.
