Opening a window created in Progress 8.1 or earlier.
Using the same INI file as the 16-bit session.
CHANGE:
Migrated from Progress 8.1 or earlier to 8.2 or later.
CAUSE:
Progress version 7, 8.0x and 8.1x for Windows were 16-bit products. Later versions of Progress are 32-bit products.
In 16-Bit versions, information related to fonts are stored in the Progress.ini file.
In 32-bit versions, Progress will look into the registry by default and ignore any INI file.
FIX:
The .INI file for the 32-bit version of Progress must be recreated, taking %DLC%\bin\progress.ini as a template.
Then, add the following parameters when starting a Progress session:
-basekey INI -ininame <path>\progress.ini
-basekey and -ininame must appear on the same command line as prowin32.exe, they cannot appear in a .pf file.
