SYMPTOM(s):
Errors 8127 and 8119 are in the AppServer's broker log file.
ServerSocketsIPC read() IOException : java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: JVM_recv in socket input stream read : Connection reset by peer: JVM_recv in socket input stream read (8127)
ServerIPCException in getServerIPCMsg() : ServerIPC error. (8119)
Connecting an AppServer to an Oracle database.
Error message in the dataserv.log file: "Unable to load shared library"
CAUSE:
The Admin service doesn't have enough rights to access the Oracle client which is installed on the network.
FIX:
The solution for this problem is to let the AdminService for PROGRESS 9.1C
use an account which can access the Oracle client on the network.
