SIGSEGV error when starting/stopping/querying the 9.1D Admin Server on SCO OpenServer.
SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
si_signo [11]: SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
si_errno [0]:
si_code [1]: SEGV_MAPERR [addr: 0x1000]
Executing any Java command, such as java -version, also causes the SIGSEGV error.
Using OSRCompat 8.0.1 for SCO OpenServer.
Release Supplement 506a and oss630a for SCO OpenServer are installed.
Using Java 1.3.0_02.
CAUSE:
Using unsupported version of OSRCompat.
FIX:
Use OSRCompat 7.1.1B which is the supported version for Progress 9.1D.
