SYMPTOM(s):

Can see hidden tables within the Progress db, however cannot see hidden tables within the schema holder image

Can not see the hidden tables within the Data Dictionary

Looking for hidden tables within the Progress schema image

Selecting "Show Hidden Tables" under "View" menu within Data Dictionary

Connecting to Progress Schema holder and schema image

CHANGE:

Migrated Progress database to foriegn db using DataServer

CAUSE:

All hidden tables, such as _user, represent metaschema information within a Progress database. These tables do not get migrated into the foriegn datasource. These are internal progress files which remain within the Progress schema holder. You will not see them within the progress schema image of the foriegn datasource.

FIX:

Hidden tables can be seen within the Progress db, the schema holder. To see them within the schema holder. Do the following.

Make sure that your selecting working db is type PROGRESS
Go to the Progress schema holder
Go into the Data Dictionary
Go to menu, View
Select "Show Hidden Tables"
You will see all hidden tables.
