AdminServer won't start after enabling Fathom remote monitoring
No log files are being created
CHANGE:
Enabled remote monitoring via fmconfig -install
CAUSE:
BUG# 20030708-019
CAUSE:
This is a known issue, currently fixed in 2.1A FCS, the full domain name is taken instead of short (base) hostname.
FIX:
1) disable remote monitoring via "fmconfig -host <fathomhost> -disable"
2) use option -name with fmconfig, ie "fmconfig -host <fathomhost> -install -name <name>" in order to enable remote monitoring again, where the <name> is short (base) name of remote host
3) restart the AdminServer
