What is the Windows equivalent of UNIX GREP
GOAL:
Is there something on Windows platforms that searches for text strings in files ?
FIX:
Of the standard windows commands, the FIND command is the closed thing to the UNIX grep command. Note that FIND is not nearly as versatile as Grep.
Alternatively, there numerous third-party products available to supply the functionality of Grep on Windows platforms.
