GOAL:
What is the maximum number of query definitions in a single RESULTS (QD7) file?
FIX:
Appendix B of the RESULTS Administration and Development Guide states that the limit for RESULTS query definitions in a single query directory (QD7) file is 256 and that there can be only one PUBLIC QD7 file per QC7 file.
To have access to more than 256 queries, use multiple query directories. When the user chooses Query > Save, Results writes the current query to the current QD7 file. A user can open a query from another query directory by choosing Query > Open or save the current query into another query directory by choosing Query > Save As.
