SYMPTOM(s):
ERROR READING SOCKET, ret=0,errno=0 (778)
Incomplete write when writing to server" (735)
Error when connecting from command line or 4GL from a remote machine
NO AppServer is involved
CAUSE:
One cause could be that there is a database with the same name as the remote database one the local machine (the one connection is made from).
FIX:
Since there were a database with the same name as the remote database the solution is to stop the local one.
