FIX:
Yes, in Progress 9.x the combined before image extents can exceed 2 gigabytes.
Without large files enabled each individual extent is limited to the 2 gigabyte file size. Large files can only be enabled in Progress 9.1C and higher, and the operating system has to be configured for large files support.
The Linux and Sco Unixware Operating Systems do not support large files.
This behavior is different from Progress 8.x, in Progress 8.x the combined size of all bi extents was limited to 2 GB.
