Version 8.8E of Progress is now listed as a mature product.

As stated within the Progress "Product Lifecycle" document, mature phase products no longer receive new features and support services are limited. Applications can continue to be deployed, however tPC strongly recommends that customers use newer versions to build next-generation products. Mature Phase products will not be evaluated for certifications on new operating environments.

Due to the advanced age of mature phase products, only Limited Basic Support Service is available. Progress Technical Support will provide commercially reasonable efforts to resolve customer issues and answer customer questions on mature phase products licensed under a Limited Basic Support Service maintenance contract.
