We are pleased to announce an introductory trial offer for the
PROGRESS Knowledge Base (PKB). This service will allow
our current customers the option of receiving an initial copy of
the CD-ROM and User's Guide - free! This trial offer does not
in any way obligate the customer to a full years subscription of
the PKB; however, the customer will still receive a fully
functional application which they can immediately put to work
helping them resolve issues. And, if the customer would like to
continue to receive the most recent Knowledge Base updates,
they may place an order for the full yearsÆ subscription service.
In addition, in late March we will be introducing Worldwide
Web access to the PKB via the Progress home page to any
customer with a valid product serial number. Since the
Knowledge Base is now on-line, customers will have access
to the most recent PROGRESS technical support information
available 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.

their company name, ship-to address, contact name, telephone
number and whether they are a direct customer or an application

About the PROGRESS Knowledge Base:
The Progress Knowledge Base is an up to date technical reference
database providing customers with immediate access to
information on known solutions to problems, error message
explanations and other related facts. The CD-ROM version has
been installed with a PROGRESS Personal Database license,
The PKB is a PROGRESS based application running in Windows,
has full GUI functionality and provides full featured query search
and data retrieval functionality.
The PKB is derived from experiences of our worldwide technical
support engineers, developers and
partners and will allow our customers the ability to access technical
information - a derivative of the same Knowledge Base information
our technical support staff currently uses to solve customer issues.
