Using a custom .pf file ( Parameter File ) to launch the Progress Desktop
CAUSE:
Various errors might appear when launching applications from the Progress Desktop if more than one _edit.r is in the PROPATH, i.e. the user has compiled his own _edit.p or an old version of the _edit.r is also present. These errors might also happen without the use of the Progress Desktop.
FIX:
The _edit.r is the compiled code for the Progress Editor. Check your PROPATH to make sure it is using the correct Progress _edit.r.
