SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to write extent header, ret = <return-value> file = <file-name>. (539)
Unable to write extent header, ret = <0> file = <bi file>. (539)
Cannot copy or rename the BI file using OS Command
Can move the bi file with OS command
CAUSE:
A Hard Disk problem is preventing the BI file from being updated by the database Engine
FIX:
Correct the Hard Disk problem, then restore the last verified backup of the Progress envionment ( database, application etc)
