The connection to the AS/400 is very slow

CHANGE:
Recent migration from V8.3C to V9.1C
CAUSE:
The investigation didn't confirm any problems with the DataServer product itself. The problem was caused by inefficient settings for AS/400 and P/400 DataServer performance parameters, specifically, TCP send and receive buffers, *TCPONLY parameter for line description, Message Buffer size(-Mm) of the client connection.
FIX:
Tune following performance parameters:
TCP send and receive buffers, *TCPONLY parameter for line description, Message Buffer size(-Mm) of the client connection.
