SYMPTOM(s):
Database started from ProControl
prosrvc.exe consumes too much memory
errmsg: 102: unable to create properf8.dll
CHANGE:
MS SQL Server installed on the same machine
CAUSE:
The addition of particular products to a pre-existing Progress installation, such as the ProVision or EnterpriseDB products, can cause errors to occur on Windows platforms.
FIX:
NOTE: You must be the system administrator to perform any of the
following functions.
Take these steps to work around the error message:
1) Rename the properf8.dll temporarily to get around the problem
while installing.
You also might have to delete Properf8 from the Registry.
Back up the Registry before making any changes.)

2) Uninstall all products that are currently installed.
3) Reinstall all the products together so that all the serial
numbers and control codes are entered for the same install
session.
