Setting up multiple Progress configurations for the same installation
GOAL:
Running several Progress configurations in the same installation
FIX:
Suppose you require to run both a development and a production environment from the same machine. One possibility would be to maintain two separate installations with the respective licenses.
However, it is possible to run both configurations from the same installation, e.g.
1. Install Progress with the first set of licenses.
2. Save the progress.cfg and then remove that installation.
3. Install with the next set of licenses.
4. Save the progress.cfg and then remove this installation.
5. Install again, but this time with all licenses.
6. User environments can then be set up to reference the required cfg file using the PROCFG environment variable.
