error 8169 appears in admserv.log
** This process terminated with exit code 1. (8619)
Other databases start ok from same batch job.
Database starts up ok manually
Behaviour occurs only sporadically
Event Viewer shows that Veritas backup running
CAUSE:
Sometimes, depending on how long the system backup takes, the database files will be being touched by the backup and can then not be accessed by the database startup.
FIX:
Ensure that backups are completed before trying to restart the database, and script accordingly.
