GOAL:
Does it matter which order Progress Core Products, Openclient and JDK or Java Virtual machine are installed?
FIX:
It depends if Java Products are supplied by Progress or not.
On the platforms where Progress does not supply the JDK or Java Virtual machine, the Java products must be installed prior to the installation of the Progress Products. The Path for the JDK will be asked for during the installation process and must be provided for the installation to continue.
This question does not occur when the JDK is provided by Progress.
When it comes to the order in which the Progress Core Products are installed it does not matter.
