FACT(s) (Environment):
Fathom Replication
SYMPTOM(s):
Attempting to stop replication on SOURCE database due to TARGET database machine crash
Error running DSRUTIL sourcedb -C terminate server
Fathom site replication can not open database because the database <dbname> = status -138
SOURCE database is offline
CAUSE:
The database is offline and the replication server is all ready shut down. DSRUTIL commands are used to manage replication while the SOURCE and TARGET databases are online.
FIX:
To disable replication on the SOURCE while off line, run:
proutil sourcedb -C disablesitereplication source
Replication will be disabled at this point.
