V7 Install Fails-Can't open or create progress.scr or ovrly

One thing to check if you are trying to install version 7 of Progress
and are getting errors related to not being able to open some files
like progress.scr or _ovrly, is the following:

If you are starting the install from an NFS mounted directory and you
created the directory prior to logging in as root or super-user, you
might see these errors once the install begins. The reason for this
is that a login of root over an NFS mounted drive does not mean the
same as a root user on a local drive. You may not have the same
priviledges. If you created the starting directory with a user
account, did the initial cpio, then logged in as root to execute the
install, the directory may not be writeable for the root id when the
directory is NFS mounted. The result is that proinstall will issue
errors that it is not able to create/open various files.

To resolve the problem, start over and login as root first.

1. login as root
2. make a temp direcotory
3. issue the initial cpio command to unpack the install files
4. begin the install
