SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to start webspeed broker when PROTERMCAP is set wrong
Running _progress shows that it cannnot find the $PROTERMCAP file
Starting AppServer displays messages:
Unable to use your terminal. Check your PROTERMCAP file. (443)
** Could not find terminal type ansi in file /mfgadm/home/mfgadm/protermcap. (146)
CAUSE:
User session which started the AdminServer has PROTERMCAP pointing to a non-existing file
CAUSE:
User session has PROTERMCAP pointing to different protermcap file
FIX:
Unset the PROTERMCAP variable and restart the AdminServer
