FACT(s) (Environment):
Fathom for Management 2.1a beta
SYMPTOM(s):
Remote AppServer resource monitor is in the blue status
Remote AppServer resource monitor reports not running
Remote WebServer resource monitor is in the blue status
Remote WebSpeed resource monitor reports not running
Remote NameServer resource monitor works fine
AppServer and WebSpeed are up and running on the remote machine
CAUSE:
BUG# 20030604-041
CAUSE:
This is a known issue - by default the AS/WS resource are set to not collect any statistics, which is causing the blue (not running) status.
FIX:
Disable and enable both resources within Fathom Management Console.
