Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
UNIX
SYMPTOM(s):
When using the "Unix <command>" command the shell outputs:
"0" <CR> <LF> "7" "2" "3" "4" "6" <CR> <LF>.
Running any Progress command that needs to shell causes unwanted characters to the console.
Using SCO ANSI emulation.
CAUSE:
The ANSI terminal under SCO has problems with setting certain function keys which causes additional characters to be appended to the key-sequence.
FIX:
Edit the PROTERMCAP file to comment out "Si" and "Se" entries for SCO ANSI.
