There has been 10894 sequences of AI switch
FIX:
1. Stop the hanging process ("kill -9 <pid_rfutil>" on Unix/Linux)
2. Either upgrade to 9.1D or, if running 9.1C then, upgrade to latest patch.
The database will need to be stopped for the upgrade but the After-Image does not need to be disabled; a 9.1B or 9.1C backup can be restored with 9.1D and 9.1D can roll-forward 9.1B or 9.1C aimage extent.
