SUMMARY:
Patch releases are now available for Version 7 (7.3C04) and Version 8
(8.0A01) MS-Windows clients that are used to connect with an AS/400
DataServer.
Below is the list of AS/400 related problems that have been
fixed in the 7.3C04 and 8.0A01 MS-Windows client patches:
. Data Administrator cannot be minimized during a synchronization.
. The verify feature of synchronize fails when adding an index.
. Overflow error occurs when canceling a change of a primary index.
. Warning box not fully removed. Loading definitions,
warning boxes overlay load information.
. No help screen is available for Create Sequence.
. When creating a logical field, the initial value is
always NO even though YES is specified.
. Duplicate AS/400 field names may be created causing
Commit to fail.
. Character format length calculation is incorrect.
. Variable allocated length must be less than the field
length is displayed at wrong time.
. Acess to version 6 style case insensitive fields was
allowed. (CNAME)
. No CANCEL option when committing changes.
. Client hangs if Create DB2/400 DataServer Schema fails.
. Delete of a trigger not recognized by SYNCH.
. Long and short integer defaults are wrong.
. False name collision error on field copy.
. Commit fails on 0 length character field.
. Unable to initialize the RUMBA AS4RCPIC.DLL and
establish a connection.
. USA date format returns wrong values.
. Synch fails on changes to a dictionary containing SEQ
