SYMPTOM(s):
Compilation of code hangs at file 290 of 3700.
Extreme disk IO on the disk where the database is located (88% wait on IO).
Code compilation done on PC connected to two databases on HP-UX 11.
Both databases started using directio.
Progress is at SP 06.
Hp has patch PHKL 27813.
Code compilation on this same PC connected to their HP machine works fine.
The test HP-UX 11 machine had a directio performance problem prior to this issue and they backed out patch PHKL_27813.
