SYMPTOM(s):
IOException reading message from server : <IOException_string> (8117)
IOException reading message from server : pipe to server broken (8117)
.pf file used successfully for connection from _progres
AppServer connects to Foreign database with .pf file specified as Server startup parameters
CAUSE:
Most probably linked to a too long connection time to the foreign database.
FIX:
Use a Startup procedure (in case of Stateless or State-aware Operating Mode) or use the Connect procedure for connecting to the foreign database .
