GOAL:
Can the field and search-expression arguments of the CONTAINS option contain double-byte characters?
GOAL:
Are DBE and UTF-8 characters supported with the CONTAINS option of the "RECORD PHRASE"?
FIX:
DBE and UTF-8 characters are already supported with the CONTAINS option of the "RECORD PHRASE".
However CONTAINS option of the "RECORD PHRASE" in 4GL reference reads:
"... you cannot word index a field that contains double-byte data and
the field and search-expression arguments of the CONTAINS option
cannot contain double-byte characters".
This is a Documentation Bug and has already been transferred to the appropriate department in order to be fixed.
