SYMPTOM(s):
Loading an incremental delta.df file on a target database
SQL-WIDTH is reset to the default value
A change was made to an attribute of that field which does not affect the SQL-WIDTH.
Incremental df file has a change for the description of the field.
Incremental df file does not show any changes associated with the SQL-WIDTH of the field
CAUSE:
Bug# 20030611-060
FIX:
1. Upgrade to 9.1D09
2. Upgrade to 9.1E
3. Upgrade to Progress 10.0A
If an upgrade is not possible, then you can work around the problem by resetting the SQL-WIDTH back to the original value after the incremental .df is applied.
