Disabled hyper-threaded architecture in the BIOS
Set Windows server performance to Background instead of Foreground
CHANGE:
Installed Progress 9.1D on Windows 2000 server with an Intel XEON Processor
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.

Install Progress 9.1D06 Service Pack
