SYMPTOM(s):
Error 1114 Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error.
Error occurred when Application called OLE connection to the Progress database for Crystal Reports when client was on Host.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
Progress 9.x
Using Merant 3.6 drivers
If _sqrsv2 is stopped and started the error does not occur.
Error did not occur for a remote client.
CAUSE:
The problem is related to ownership / access rights to the .dll file.
FIX:
Start AdminService for Progress to start using user account that is part of
the administrator group instead of the system account.
