SYMPTOM(s):
Attempt to start database in version 9.1D05 after migration from version 9.1C18 fails.
Number of users (-n) adjusted to <5>. (5055)
Personal DB server cannot support more than <number> users. (9234)
This version of PROGRESS does not support Spin Lock Retries (-spin). (4965)
Installed Progress Enterprise product on the server locally.
Installed C\N and 4GL products from a client machine over a mapped drive into a different directory on that same server..
CAUSE:
The Client Networking install icons were placed in the same program group as the icons from the install of the Progress Enterprise product.
FIX:
Unistall and reinstall with a different program group for each set of icons.
