What options do Progress have to implement database replication ?
FIX:
With Progress 9.1D, we have two options to implement database replication one is PeerDirect and the other is Fathom High Availability Replication (FHAR) the architecture and framework is different for both of them.
FHAR uses the After Image as the foundation to implement the replication and it only allows a one way replication,FHAR is intended to perform a Progress to Progress replication only.
PeerDirect may use a two ways replication and uses the PeerDirect replication engine to perform its work, PeerDirect may be configured to use different data sources to implement replication.
