GOAL:
Customer request to simplify API calls in Appbuilder source code.
GOAL:
The request was to simplify the number of input and output parameters used with procedures such as "adecomm/_fldsel.p" and "adecomm/_mfldsel.p". The procedures have many parameters, but the customer would like this number reduced to about three so that it would be easier to use them in their own customizations.

CAUSE:
As the product develops it is bound to become more complex, as new parameters and new functionality is appended to already existing procedures. Development will try to keep the code a simple and as self documenting as possible because ultimately, it is in their own interests to do so. However, this is not always possible.
FIX:
