SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot install Progress Developer's Briefcase
GetLastError The system cannot find the file specified (pmgbr)
Non English American promsgs have been chosen during the install
CAUSE:
The Progress Developer's Briefcase contains by default only English American promsgs (pmame). Therefore the installation routine can't find the correspond pmXXX file.
This is an expected behavior and it has been published in chapter 3.2 of Installing Progress Developer's Briefcase
FIX:
1. Download international promsgs file
Please go to Technical support site http://www.progress.com/support , Product updates and Documentation -> Product updates -> Progress Product updates (you will have to login in) -> Software -> Progress® Deployment Products -> AppServer Internet Adapter (AIA) and download Message Files - Win32 Intel.
2. Unpack and install
After the international message file 91d_promsgs_nt.exe is downloaded, execute 91d_promsgs_nt.exe, choose a temporary directory for unpacking the messages and copy desired pmXXX into the Progress Developer's Briefcase installation directory and re-run setup.exe.
