SYMPTOM(s):
Value TRUE of a logical field is not been returned as 1 via ODBC
MS Access returns -1 for a TRUE value of a logical field
MS SQL Server returns 255 in a tinyint field for a TRUE value of the field
MS Excel returns 1 for a TRUE value of a logical field
CAUSE:
The ODBC driver is returning a boolean value of TRUE, but the third party application is interpreting the TRUE value differently.
FIX:
Verify what the standard value for a TRUE value of a boolean field is in the third party application.
