NLM Server v7.3C05 793 Select Returned Error at startup
The following error:
Select returned -1 errno=9 (793)
when attempting to start the v7.3C05 NLM server product is caused by
the fact that you are NOT on a supported release of Netware for this
release of the NLM server product.
The v7.3C05 NLM (and later) server product requires that you are
running Netware v3.12 or Netware v4.1. These releases contain the
required versions of Netware NLMs that are needed for Progress to work
properly.
Please see the install guide for further information.
Make sure that the customer is running with a FULL 3.12 release and th
at the loaded NLMs are all 3.12 or higher. This means that a simple up
grade of a 3.11 Novell to 3.12 Novell may leave some old NLM lying
around (check with MODULES command for 3.11 versions of loaded NLMs).
IF some 3.11 NLM versions are loaded, replace them with 3.12 versions
or higher.
