Database not started error with odbc connection:

_sqlsrv2 on server hangs
Client hangs
CAUSE:
Java environment not set up correctly - jdk missing.
FIX:
1. The JRE is automatically installed with 9.1D for HP-UX 11. For running odbc you will also need the JDK. This is available from HP.
2. To set up the JDK environment variables, please consult the "Progress Installation & Configuration Guide for UNIX".
