ODBC driver accessing 32 bit products

You can use 32-bit applications with 16-bit drivers using Windows 3.1
& Windows 32s. The application calls the 32-bit thunking Driver
Manager, which is not a true Driver Manager, but a thin layer that
calls a universal thunking DLL (thunking DLL's are used to convert
32-bit ODBC calls to 16-bit ODBC calls).

The following table describes the supported configurations:
Application Driver Operating System
16-bit 16-bit Windows 3.1
Windows NT
16-bit 32-bit Windows NT
32-bit 16-bit Windows 32s
32-bit 32-bit Windows NT

Do not use the 32-bit thunking Driver Manager on Windows NT.
Windows NT only supports 32-bit applications talking to 32-bit drivers
