libsocket.so not found: probuild requires socket libraries
Due to changes in Progress database manager in V7, Progress now uses
C functions which OS vendors bundle into their communication (socket)
libraries. Some OS vendors no longer ship these libraries with the
with the standard OS. This affects customers who probuild executables
and who have not purchased the communication libraries. The following
error may occur when probuilding:
libsocket.so not found.
Customers who encounter this problem can contact the OS vendor to
obtain the communication libraries.
