Memory usage per user increases after upgrade to Progress 9.1D
System shows an increase in memory botttlenecks and swapping
Operating System statistics show an average increase in RESIDENT memory of roughly 20% per user
CHANGE:
Upgraded from an earler Progress version
CAUSE:
This is expected behaviour in new releases of Progress. The extra memory usage is due to the increase in the functionality/features and number of libraries in the new major release.
FIX:
Increase the memory on the affected production machines
