SYSTEM ERROR: <bkiowrite>: Bad file descriptor was used during <write>, fd <292 descriptor>, len <8192>, offset <444>, file <dbname.b1>. (9446)
Progress Database running while performing a backup with a third-party backup utility.
CAUSE:
The third-party backup utility has interfered with our database files. It was backing up a file while Progress was trying to write to it.
You cannot perform an online backup with a non-Progress backup utility.
FIX:
Use the Progress utility PROBKUP to backup the Database while it is online.

probkup [ online ] db-name [ incremental ] device-name
