GOAL:
Is a <database>.st file necessary prior to running prorest?
FIX:
With version 8.x, you need a dbN.st file for the following database restore
prorest dbN <device>
as soon as your database is greater than 2gig.
Prior to version 9.1C, you need a dbN.st file for the following database restore
prorest dbN <device>
as soon as one of areas is greater than 2gig.
If you have enabled large file, and you have enough space to restore the database within your current directory, then you do not need any dbN.st file prior to issuing
prorest dbN.st <device>
