Dynamics: Changes to Lookup or Combo object name are not saved in the Appbuilder.
Changes to a Dynamic Lookup or Dynamic Combo object name appear to be saved in the Appbuilder. But if the viewer is closed and then reopened, the name is changed back to the name of the fill-in the Lookup or Combo is based on.
