The dynamic lookup clears out any ?invalid? values in display mode
When a value not in the related table is added or displayed it is blanked out
Only happens to lookups that existed when the Service Pack is applied.
New lookups work correctly

Installed Dynamics Service Pack 2 - 2.0A02
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
Recreating the lookup works fine
