Using third party application Scribe
Microsoft ODBC Admin Demo or ODBCTest shows that the SQL_CATALOG_NAME function returns "N" with ODBC drivers supplied with Progress 9.1C
Microsoft ODBC Admin Demo or ODBCTest shows that the SQL_CATALOG_NAME function returns "Y" with ODBC drivers supplied with Progress 9.1D
CHANGE:
Upgraded to Progress 9.1D. Merant (Data Direct) drivers were upgraded from the drivers supplied with Progress 9.1C to the drivers supplied with Progress 9.1D.
CAUSE:
Currently Progress does not support Catalog Names (catalog_name). SQL_CATALOG_NAME function should return "N" instead of "Y".
FIX:
Use 9.1C ODBC driver
